I am interested not only in what a space looks like. I am interested in what happens between people, space and use.
Attention begins with observation.
Spaces accompany us every day. They provide protection, orientation and stability. They can support concentration, facilitate encounters and encourage development. And sometimes they affect us quite differently from what we consciously perceive.
For me, every change therefore begins with a simple question: What is actually revealing itself here?
This attention to connections lies at the heart of my work.
Space is never merely a backdrop.
Architecture creates more than form and function. It influences movement, orientation, communication and the way people experience a place.
I am particularly interested in the relationship between people and buildings: How does a space support its use? Where do tensions arise? And what changes can help a place better support the people who use it?
I combine my experience in building design and construction planning with the knowledge of classical Feng Shui and the attentive observation of a place.
Not as a rigid set of rules, but as a way of making connections and influences visible.

The task is not to impose something on a space. It is to perceive what is already there – and from this allow a coherent development to emerge.
From construction to a broader understanding of spaces
My professional path began in construction. As a civil engineer, I worked in building design and construction planning, as well as in the renovation of existing buildings.
Since the mid-1990s, I have been deeply engaged with classical Feng Shui. This perspective has gradually broadened my understanding of buildings, their use and the relationship between people and space.
My way of working today has grown from the combination of construction planning, classical Feng Shui and the attentive observation of places.
Planning and developing buildings
Building design, construction planning and my experience in the renovation of existing buildings form the structural foundation of my work: use, structure, construction and the practical development of buildings and spaces.
Understanding influences
Classical Feng Shui broadens the perspective on location, orientation, spatial organisation and the interactions between people, buildings and their surroundings.
Making connections visible
These two perspectives come together in the way I work today: observing, analysing, recognising connections and developing appropriate steps from what becomes visible.
Spaces that strengthen people.
I use the term “dynamic architecture” for this combination of built space, use and classical Feng Shui.
Buildings are not static shells. People change, uses change, and life situations and requirements continue to evolve.
A good space should be able to support this development. It should provide orientation without restricting and create conditions in which vitality, clarity and joie de vivre can unfold.

Spaces are far more than the backdrop to our lives. They are in a constant relationship with us – and it is precisely this relationship that my book explores.
“My Space, My Power” invites you to perceive your surroundings more consciously, discover clues and recognise connections. It does not seek to provide ready-made answers, but rather invites you to look at your own spaces with renewed attention.
